Mr Santa Germany came to visit all children at the dinner hotel, most children were too shy to go up to Father Christmas so the gifts were delivered to the children; not so for Teagan, who dove past her gift and up into the arms of a slightly unsuspecting Santa and in performance mode created a photo opportunity for the hotel staff. One happy little girl returned to her seat with "Max", a donkey.
We had a delightful evening listening to the Christmas story (traditional version) and then we believe a humorous version in German. Our dinner was a Christmas goose in Orange sauce..YUM!
To Teagan's immense surprise Mr Santa Germany came to visit again while she s asleep. Mum and Dad kept watch out on the balcony in the freezing cold while Teagan went to sleep. The plan worked! A lovely fire engine (Playmobil), with "constructions" in German was left at the end of her bed along with a few other interesting items to interest a hungry tum. Needless to say, one child is rather short on sleep so the remainder of the day will be interesting.
